A ShORCID is a Short ORCID; s short character string that can be converted from and to an ORCID. It always starts with an i and only contains Latin letters and Arabic digits. These characteristics make it suitable as identifiers for, for example, screeners or extractors in systematic reviews, coders in qualitative research, or analysts in quantitative research.
